Musical Calgary
This illustration is a mixed media design made with brushed india ink, water color paints, and goche. The theme was to represent music in the city of Calgary. I wanted to have significant contrast and to make the image as striking as possible.
The Skin is the Best Part
I was commissioned by the Haddonfields (https://www.facebook.com/thehaddonfields) to design the cover art to their album 'The Skin is the Best Part'. They wanted an horror design with zombie chickens & I delivered!

A few years back Charlie Sheen went on Twitter and made the hashtag #winning a universal term. With that, one night I decided that would make an interesting image with the hashtag partially draping across his shoulder. This was a lot of fun to draw and to paint (with watercolors).
Out of the Park
I love baseball. With this painting I experimented with making my paints more opaque than usual and by adding an expressive background.
